Alfonso Mejia Azpiri, born in Madrid, was a specialist in the fantastic genre. He created several books, which were published in Italy, with titles like ‘Terror Blu’, ‘Il Vampiro’, and ‘I Notturni’. He created the character Chang, a of martial arts, who appeared in several French magazines, as well as titles such as ‘Alpha Cosmos’, ‘Cephyd’ and ‘Monster’. Azpiri is certainly one of the of the genre in the seventies, devoting himself to classic stories, often with influences.
